This BUNGUBOX fountain pen draws inspiration from the rich, fragrant color of traditional kabayaki sauce handed down through generations. Its barrel reflects this deep hue and is infused with polarized gold pearl that shimmers with golden highlights depending on the viewing angle, evoking the sizzling allure of eel glazed with sauce. The cap ring is finely engraved with the fruit and leaves of sansho, the essential spice that completes kabayaki, while the crown features a mother-of-pearl inlay shaped like the Japanese Hiragana character “u” for “unagi” (eel).

Presented in an exquisite paulownia wood box reminiscent of the premium “kabayaki-ju” served at top-class restaurants, this pen offers a luxurious unboxing experience.
